Photographer Roy DeCarava passed away this week. DeCarava is best known for his book "The Sweet Flypaper of Life" - a collaboration with poet Langston Hughes. DeCarava's photographs documented his Harlem, NYC neighborhood. DeCarava was both an artist and a civil rights activist. He will be missed. To read his obituary in the NY Times click this link.
