The new Lytro digital camera
An image shot with the Lytro with two different depths of field.The new Lytro digital camera has just been released. It is a point and shoot camera with a twist. The camera works differently from traditional digital cameras. The big twist is that images captured on the Lytro can be manipulated after capture in interesting new ways - most specifically depth of field can be determined and changed after capture. The big downside is that you can't use Photoshop or Lightroom to manipulate the images in this way. You must use the free proprietary software made for the camera.
